What It’s Like To Work With A (Female) Life Coach

If you’re looking for a life coach who’ll motivate you to achieve your goals without suppressing your emotional needs, I want to make a case for deeply considering working with a female life coach.
This is NOT about bashing or devaluing male coaches because there is a tremendous amount value and in the different energetics, and approach that men and male coaches can bring to the lives of many.
This IS about sharing some core nuances that seem to set female coaches apart from our male counterparts.
Let’s start with what the general conceptions are about women in general. Women are often described as being more empathetic and understanding than men.  This generally makes them better suited to helping people with mindset, confidence and trust issues. Women also tend to be more nurturing and patient than men, making them good candidates for a coaching partner.

Why Do People Hire Life Coaches?

When I asked my clients why they began to seek out a life coach and specifically female life coaches. They described feeling like they were currently in some state of transit, challenge or confusion. They wanted more clarity around those feelings, emotional support and accountability to help them come out of the confusion. And ultimately to release those challenges and those blocks.

Why Hire A Female Life Coach

Ninety-five percent of my clients and students are women who’ve told me that when they began the process of looking for a coach they wanted to work with a female life coach because they feel like another woman is going to understand a lot of the common struggles that come with traditional roles and titles that many women have such as a wife, mom, or titles like caregiver.

“I’m struggling with being (becoming) a wife, a mother and juggling that along with my career or, entrepreneurial aspirations.

Even just “remembering who I was before those titles and getting to know who I am now” are common things I hear from the women I work with.

Because of this they say that they feel more comfortable having those conversations with another woman because there are usually inherit connections there another woman would probably relate to. Something they perceive that a male counterpart wouldn’t.

And then there’s the other five percent of my clients who are men or those who don’t identify as female. What made them decide to go with a woman?

They were looking for a more feminine approach, perspective, and energy to help them sort through and surrender their challenges. And they felt it’d be more likely to get that from female life coach.

How To Choose The Right Coach

Whether you’d connect better with a female or male/ masculine energy coach isn’t about gender. And even the energy (female/ masculine) isn’t the key deciding indicator.

The real decider is knowing who you are and what perspective or energy that you’re in need of to bring balance to shift your view, stop self sabotage and elevate.

The process of mining that knowledge of yourself and building unbreakable trust in yourself is what I teach inside and with my
