In any given day we are bombarded with the opportunity of making like a BILLION choices.
From what to eat, wear, or having to respond to the ideas or inquiries from others, decision making can become overwhelming.
There’s literally a name for this, it’s called “decision fatigue”. And I’m no stranger to it.
I used to be really hard on myself for not being the most decisive person in the world (at least in the conventional way). And that really affected my confidence in the entire process. I wanted to make decisions with ease and not agonize over every aspect of it.
So I began digging into different ways I could be improve my confidence in decision making.
A few years back I got really interested in how to make the process less daunting for myself.
I begin studying in areas like my natal chart, personality test, and human design to find out how I could tackle this on in a very individualized way.
I tried a lot of different techniques from minimalism, making routines, journaling and more.
So yesterday when I was in the process of making a decision I decided to go live and share my decision making process easier and less chore-like. And it’s been not just helpful to me, but also to my clients who’ve gotten stuck in procrastination mode before trying to make the right decision.
For most people making decisions can feel heavy because of one of three things:
- They see making decisions as a chore
- They’re afraid they’ll make the wrong decision
- They don’t know or trust how they’re uniquely designed to make great choices.
